Susan kae Grant has a long history of teaching artist’s bookmaking workshops at various programs throughout the United States.

Grant’s expertise is in the area of handmade limited edition photographic books. Her curriculum introduces participants to design, sequence and structure. Lectures and hands-on demonstrations illustrate a variety of ways to incorporate images and text to communicate ideas and symbolically balance form and content.

As visiting instructor Grant teaches The Art of Photographic Bookmaking at the International Center of Photography (NYC) which she had done each spring since 1993 as a 4-day workshop.

In 2018 Grant was named Cornaro Professor of Visual Art, Emerita at Texas Woman’s University where she served as head of Photography & Book Arts from 1981-2017.
